Jono Bredin


Jono joined Keogh McCormack Ltd in August 2010 with significant experience in local and big-four accounting firms. As a tax specialist he maintains strong relationships with the IRD and advises clients on such matters as tax effective structuring, land transactions, associated persons, tax residence and overseas investment rules. He also acts for a number of amateur and professional sportspeople.

In 2009 and 2010, Jono was a finalist in the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants Outstanding New Member award and was named the Otago Chamber of Commerce Future Business Leader in 2010.

Away from the office, Jono has enjoyed being New Zealand’s top international Netball umpire for the last four years. He has umpired at two Commonwealth Games, two World Cups and in four ANZ Championship Grand Finals.

Jono is also a Premier Club Rugby Referee, Board Chair of Dunedin Netball Centre and a member of Sport Otago’s Board of  Trustees.

In his spare time Jono enjoys traveling the world and spending time with his family and friends.
